Bad bad Bob
"Oh how the gossip merchants are slating the local butcher, Bob. He is such a nice man and is always friendly and I am amazed that they can get away with it."
It seems though that he did not agree with the Harwell Village Parish Council or their committee minions. What a foolish thing to do ;-)

We agree and cannot think of a better candidate. We have had over 40 emails on this - and all think that Bob would be great leading the Parish Council.
Good for you Bob I say Good for you, he doesnt MINCE his words and you will find that he is not all CHOPS either!!
You will ALWAYS find a warm and friendly welcome when you visit his family run store
One member in particular will have you in fits of laughter with his extremely funny stories and quips !!
Some people seem to be forgetting that without your shop and Post Office the village would be a whole lot worse off without it !
Anyway we (the commoners) all know where to find you Bob where it seems that certain members of the (spit) P.C. DID NOT even know who you or your wife were as I witnessed during the so called ............

Once Bob is elected as Chairman of the PC he should create a new post so that we never get into this position with elected bodies again.
The post should carry more control for Bob himself and the new title should represent this new status.
Mayor or President comes to mind but, as Harwell has only Village status, this may not be allowed. He should therefore be creative (and step out of the rules)

It is a shame that our PC and committee's have been created from dodgy handshakes, friendly contracts, and the perception of power.

Either way, I think its clear that this site has changed the way the Parish Council operates and has brought it more up to date; it has made it clear to the world the questionable morals of our UNELECTED Parish Council quango; it has forced these people to be named and shamed; and it has shown the shallow and fake morality of the people in the pocked of these councillors.
